Storm Topples 300-Year-Old Tree at Historic West Liberty Cemetery

Crew were on the scene cleaning up debris after a storm on Wednesday night toppled a 300-year-old tree at the West Liberty Cemetery.The tree fell upon multiple tombstones, causing heavy damage. The cemetery was formerly known as "West Liberty Military Cemetery, and contains the resting places of Civil War and Revolutionary War soldiers.
