On January 3rd, they said the A-Plus Fuel Mart on High Ridge Road, just off Blaine Hill, was ransacked and apparently set on fire. The video surveillance equipment was stolen. The state fire marshal's investigators are now handling the arson, while the sheriff's department is investigating the theft.
The man accused of murdering another man in East Wheeling has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Friday afternoon, Dallas Acoff had his first court appearance in Ohio County. He's accused of killing Lemroy Coleman back in October. Acoff was on the run for two months before being captured by US Marshals in Cleveland and extradited back to Wheeling.
