Man Escapes Ambulance, Jumps Off Bridge

APOLLO, Pa. (AP) - A man escaped from an ambulance and jumped off a western Pennsylvania bridge, but was rescued. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (http://bit.ly/SBLKhE ) reports that the unidentified man jumped off the Apollo Bridge and into the Kiskiminetas River at about noon Sunday. Authorities Arrest Belmont County Woman in Meth Bust

A Belmont County woman is behind bars Monday after authorities discovered she was operating a meth lab in Bridgeport.Amber Schafer, 31, was arrested for operating a meth lab out of her home on Poplar Avenue in Bridgeport.According to authorities, Schafer is charged with the illegal manufacturing of meth, a Felony 2 Offense and the illegal assembly and possession of chemicals, a Felony 3 Offense.She is currently in the Belmont County Jail under $25,000 bond.
