Local Teen Helps To Keep His School Safe

A local teenager is making sure that every classroom at his high school is safe by donating what he's calling Survival Buckets. He's hoping that by having these buckets in each classroom, that students and teachers will be able to escape or defend themselves in case of an active shooter situation.

Wheeling Dog Park organizers now have a good idea about when the park will be ready to open., and it will be much more than a piece of property surrounded by a fence. It will have exercise options for dogs and people.Jeremy Morris, Co-Founder of the dog park, says it will open either late this fall or at the very latest, early next spring.City crews have done some excavation at the Tunnel Green site already.
