In November, the principal of Sherrard Middle School got the worst news of her life. She had a brain tumor. But there was good news too. It was benign and it was operable. So Cassie Porter had surgery. And amazingly, two months later, she was back at work. When she looks back, she admits she hadn't been feeling well for a long time. "I was suffering from headaches," Porter said. "I had an upset stomach most of the time. I was tired a lot."
