Wheeling Police Officer Recovering in Pittsburgh Hospital After Head On Collision

A Wheeling Police officer is recovering in a Pittsburgh hospital after being involved in a head on collision on his way to work Friday night.Police say patrolman Harry Meyers was struck by a van that was turning left in front of Warwood plaza, just before 10:00 p.m. last night.Meyers was able to use his own police radio to call in the accident saying he was in "pretty bad shape."Meyers was transported to Allegheny General Hospital with facial and arm lacerations and and injury to the pelvis t...
