The second reading of the Weirton Business and Occupation tax will be held on Tuesday, and some business owners are concerned about the consequences should the measure pass.Many business owners said if the tax goes through, they will have to cut services, move to another city, or even shut down completely. 62,000 UPMC Employees Have 'Work Day' Smoking Ban

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Some 62,000 University of Pittsburgh Medical Center employees can no longer take smoking breaks or otherwise use tobacco during the work day. UPMC previously made its hospitals and campuses smoke-free in 2007, though workers could leave the grounds and buildings to smoke. WV Teacher pay raise, other bills take effect July 1
