FOSTORIA, Ohio (AP) - Relatives say the two people who died in a northwestern Ohio house fire earlier this week were hearing impaired. Three people are charged in connection with the fire in Fostoria. Investigators have not released a motive but say the fire was intentionally set. City officials say the victims were 48-year-old Danny Marker and 44-year-old Tara Lynn Vance. A third woman was rescued from the home and is in a Toledo hospital. Three Local Students Competing in Scripps National Spelling Bee

Three local eighth graders were in the national spotlight on Wednesday as they took part in the 87th annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. Peyton Hall of River Elementary School, Justin Thomas Hamilton of Union Local, and Nathan Keenan of Toronto Junior/Senior High School all spelled their first word of the day correctly in the second round and were set to spell in the third round later Wednesday afternoon. The Scripps National Spelling Bee is being live-streamed on ESPN3.
