CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - With no opposition for his city council seat in a small town on West Virginia's Northern Panhandle, Curtis Mele figured his ticket to a third consecutive term was secure. Instead, a clerical error left his name off the May 13 ballot, and another councilman was listed as the candidate in his district in Benwood. Ohio Father and Son Face Sex Trafficking Charges

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio authorities say a father and son are facing federal charges of sex trafficking involving a child and transporting women for prostitution in exchange for heroin. The Ohio Attorney General's Office says 46-year-old Keith Arrick Sr. of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, and 21-year-old Keith Arrick Jr. of Lima were indicted this week on charges that included conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. Fudge Bar Attacker Lacks Good Humor

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Authorities in South Carolina say a man who was not in good humor smacked an ice-cream truck driver with a fudge bar in a dispute over correct change after his daughter bought the frozen confection. The ice cream vendor told Rock Hill, South Carolina, police the man accused her of not giving his daughter correct change after a purchase.
