Goal Posts Erected at Busy Weirton Intersection to Honor Athletes

There's been a lot of talk recently in one local community about field goal posts that have popped up at the corner of a busy intersection in Weirton. Just this week, one of the goal posts from the old Jimmy Carey Stadium showed up on the corner of Weir Avenue and Cove Road. This has everyone asking causing - why? McMechen Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Incident in Downtown Wheeling

A McMechen man has been arrested and is facing three counts of possession of a controlled substance after an incident in Wheeling.Wheeling Police say they noticed a suspicious couple around 16th and Market Streets in Wheeling around 1 a.m. Wednesday, that's when they caught up with Thaddeus Richardson.
