Hancock County Deputies responded to a 911 call of a reported robbery at the Main Street Café on 601 Washington Street in Newell early Thursday morning.Sheriff Ralph Fletcher said a male reportedly walked in to the Café wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue latex gloves. The suspect allegedly wielded a knife and demanding money from the employee on duty. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect then fled out of the front door of the café.
