SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — An American soldier blinded in Afghanistan and the widow of another soldier killed there have filed a $44.7 million wrongful death and injury lawsuit against a Canadian man who was held at Guantanamo Bay and pleaded guilty to committing war crimes when he was 15.

Authorities Arrest Belmont County Woman in Meth Bust

A Belmont County woman is behind bars Monday after authorities discovered she was operating a meth lab in Bridgeport.Amber Schafer, 31, was arrested for operating a meth lab out of her home on Poplar Avenue in Bridgeport.According to authorities, Schafer is charged with the illegal manufacturing of meth, a Felony 2 Offense and the illegal assembly and possession of chemicals, a Felony 3 Offense.She is currently in the Belmont County Jail under $25,000 bond.
