Work continues on the hillside near Rush Run in Jefferson County as part of a $22-million dollar landslide repair project. Beaver Excavating Company, from Canton, Ohio, is performing the work Monday through Saturday between 4 and 6 p.m., causing some minor traffic delays. BLANCHESTER, Ohio (AP) - The father of an 8-year-old Ohio boy who skipped church and was found alone at a store has been charged with child endangering. Blanchester police say the boy apparently walked on a busy highway to a Family Dollar Store about a half-mile from his home on April 30.
